What article 208
Article 208 governs the form of certificates representing shares.
Certificates may represent one or more shares and may be bearer or registered; in the latter case, endorsable or non-endorsable. Companies authorized to make public offerings may issue global certificates for their fully paid shares for registration in collective-deposit systems.

Commentary
Although the historical text mentions bearer shares, later legislation made non-endorsable registered shares the Argentine rule. Global certificates facilitate market trading through collective deposit.
