What article 317
Article 317 governs the name of the partnership limited by shares.
The company name is composed of the words 'partnership limited by shares', its abbreviation or the acronym S.C.A. The omission of that indication shall make the manager liable without limitation and jointly and severally, together with the company, for the acts entered into under those conditions. If it acts under a firm name, article 126 applies.

Commentary
As in the other types, the abbreviation warns third parties of the liability regime. Omitting it exposes the manager to personal liability.
